Born and raised in St. Louis, MO. I spent four years in the Navy, then moved to Alaska and enjoyed nature's Northern beauty for nearly 15 years.

I have always loved reading for pleasure and knowledge, and discovered Bonded Through Books while preparing to relocate to Ohio.  I first met with the group in April of 2005 and membership was inevitable due to the warm and genuine reception.  I joined because I enjoy coming together with a positive group of women to discuss African American literature and to hear varying points of view about books, authors, and daily living issues.  AND THE LAUGHTER!

Expectation of the group: Diversity of perspectives.

Favorite books: Too many to narrow down!!  Usually which ever one I have my hands on at the time.

Dream: To own a bed and breakfast, providing a place of peace, relaxation, and the pure joy of pampering.
